As a child to young adult, I spent a significant amount of time writing down my thoughts to help make sense of them. It was a practice that often led me to re-think snap decisions i would have otherwise made had i not adopted this practice so young. As a busy working parent, many of these self promoting and self sustaining practices have fallen by the wayside, replaced with other priorities and obligations. I have recently realized the time taken to journal ones thoughts is as good for the mind and body as exercise itself. I am however, out of practice.
